Description

This is a house dating to circa 1700, with later 18th-century additions and a 20th-century restoration. It is timber-framed with red brick infill; the east gable end is pebbledash render, while the west gable end is encased in brick. The main block has a clay tile roof and the later block a thatched roof. The house comprises a 2-room plan with attics, and is joined to a lower block at the west end. The north elevation features two 5-light leaded casement windows on the ground floor, and two gabled dormers with 2-light leaded casements. An off-centre plank door provides access. A red brick double ridge stack is present, along with a red brick stack at the junction with the lower block.
