Outbuildings Immediately North West Of Chicksands Priory

The outbuildings located immediately northwest of Chicksands Priory date from the late 18th century and form the western side of the stable courtyard. The right-hand block, which serves as a coach house, is a single storey with attics, while the left-hand block, possibly used as stables, is two storeys high. Both blocks are constructed of red brick and topped with clay tile roofs.

On the east elevation, the left-hand block features two doorways and one window, all with two-centred arched heads, and a small plank door on the first floor. The roof includes two low ridge ventilators and an integral gable end stack on the left-hand side. The right-hand block boasts four pairs of timber coach doors, and the attic has four gabled dormers, which appear to be later additions.
