Description

This is a 17th-century house located on Priory Road, Campton. Originally listed under a different address and name, it is timber framed and rendered with a pebbledash finish on the exterior. The roof is covered in clay tiles. The house was originally designed with a 3-room plan over two storeys. The west-facing elevation has two 2-light casement windows on the ground floor, with a smaller casement between them. The first floor has three 2-light casement windows. The east-facing elevation mirrors this design, with two 2-light casement windows on each floor. A part-glazed front door is positioned off-centre. Gable ends are finished with red brick copings. A substantial three-stage external chimney stack of red brick is situated on the south gable end, though the top section has been removed. A red brick external stack and a 20th-century single-storey addition constructed of red brick are located on the north gable end.
