Description

This is an early 17th-century house located on Great Barford High Street. It's a two-room plan building, originally two storeys high with attics, and includes a substantial later addition to the rear. The front is colour-washed rough cast over a timber frame, with an old clay tile roof. The house has a gable end facing the road. The attic storey is jettied and features a two-light horizontal sash window. More recent casement windows and a door are visible on the other floors. A red brick ridge stack rises from the roof, featuring three joined diagonal shafts. A lean-to addition is present on the north-west elevation.
