School and schoolhouse. 1875. Yellow brick with stone dressings. Clay tile roof with bands of fishscale tiles and ridge cresting. Complex plan, the school to the S single-storeyed, the house to the N rising to the same height but of one storey and attics, the N blocks narrower with more steeply pitched roofs. Total structure is roughly L-shaped. Road elevation, school to LH: LH projecting gable has 2 2-light mullion and transom windows and small paired lights to apex. RH block has plank door with strap hinges under cambered head, 5-light mullioned window, and square bell-cote with sprocketed pyramidal roof. Schoolhouse to RH: LH projecting gable has canted bay to ground floor and 2-light window above. RH block has plank door within angle under hipped tiled hood, 2-light window to ground floor, and gabled dormer above with 2- light window. All windows mullioned. Paired octagonal stacks with moulded cornices to rear of RH block and to side of LH block at junction with school. All gables have stone coping.
