CAMPTON AMPTHILL ROAD East Lodge

GV II Entrance lodge belonging to Chicksands Priory. Plaque: "G.R.O.1866". George Robert Osborn, sixth Baronet, 1818-1892. Coursed limestone with ashlar dressings. Clay tile roof. T-plan, one storey and attics.

East elevation: Left hand block has mullion and transom window to ground floor. Right hand gable has two-light mullioned window to attic. Both windows are leaded, and have moulded labels. Right hand gable has four-centred arched door. Gabled open porch with turned timber balusters. Stone coping to gables. Multiple ridge stack to left hand block. Similar fenestration elsewhere, with canted bay to south elevation.
