Description
The right-hand wall of a pair flanking the entrance at East Lodge is a Grade II listed structure built in 1866 for George Robert Osborn, the 6th Baronet. This wall is part of the entrance to Chicksands Priory and is constructed from ashlar limestone. It is located to the right of the lodge cottage and features two square piers that stand about 1.5 metres high. These piers are connected by a curved wall that is approximately 15 metres long and half the height of the piers. The top of the wall is adorned with plain wrought iron railings.
