Description
Froghall Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber framed construction with red brick infill and a clay tile roof that has deep verges on both gables. The left-hand gable end is adorned with fishscale tiles on the first floor. The house has a two-room plan and is two storeys high with attics. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows and one sash window. The first floor has two 2-light windows on either side of a single light window. The attic includes two gabled dormers, also with deep verges, featuring 2-light casements. There is a plank door aligned with a double ridge stack, with the upper part rebuilt in yellow brick. All gables have plain bargeboards.
