Description

No. 16 Church Road is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is timber framed and rendered, with the framing exposed on the west gable end. The cottage has a thatched roof and features a two-cell plan. It is two storeys high with an attic and has a two-window range. There is a large central brick stack with a hearth in each cell. The spine beams and joists are exposed on the ground floor, and the purlins are exposed in the attic.
