Description
The Croft is a house dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century addition. It features a timber-framed structure with red brick infill set on a coursed ironstone rubble plinth, topped with a thatched roof. The building has a three-room plan and is one storey high with attics. On the ground floor, there are three 3-light casement windows with glazing bars. The attic includes three eyebrow dormers, each with segmental-headed 2-light casement windows, also with glazing bars. A 20th-century panelled door is set within a moulded architrave, and there is a red brick multiple ridge stack aligned with the door. The 19th-century addition on the right-hand end is two storeys high, constructed of red brick and slate, featuring a plank door and casement windows.
