Description
Little Park Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse, significantly restored and altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is two storeys high. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick, which has been extensively restored but retains areas of English bond mixed with header courses. Faint traces of a diaper pattern using blue bricks are also visible in some sections.
The south-west side of the building displays twin gables, a moulded stone pointed arch, and a lead rainwater head below the valley formed by the gables. The rainwater head is inscribed with the initials 'WRA' and the date '1629'. The windows on this side are later additions, with earlier, larger windows discernible through bricked-up areas.
The south-east side features windows within a section that was completely restored in the late 18th century. The north-east side has a projecting gable end which retains original brickwork and further traces of the diaper design, although the sash windows are later replacements.
