Description
No. 2 Clifton Road is an early 19th-century house featuring red brick construction and a hipped slate roof. The building has a symmetrical double pile plan and stands two storeys high. It includes a three-window range, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars set beneath gauged brick flat heads. The left-hand ground floor window has been replaced in the 20th century and has differently proportioned glazing bars. The central doorway boasts a six-panel door topped by a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars, framed by a moulded architrave and a pediment supported by Corinthian pilasters. Additionally, there are red brick multiple stacks located adjacent to the central ridge.
