Description

No. 47 High Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of red brick with a slate roof and two gable stacks. The building is two stories high and features a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a plain overlight, set within a wooden surround that includes narrow half-engaged columns and a narrow moulded hood. On either side of the door are plain sash windows. The first floor has a central blank opening flanked by two similar windows, and all windows are topped with segmental brick heads.
