Description

No. 49 Silver Street is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of mud and stud, with some sections underbuilt in brick, and features a corrugated iron roof. The building originally had a lobby entry and has a single-storey front with four bays. The off-centre planked door is flanked on the left by a tripartite glazing bar sliding sash and on the right by two 20th-century casement windows. This cottage is included in the register for its group value.
