Description

The White Swan is a public house built in the early 19th century. It features a stucco exterior with stucco dressings and a hipped slate roof, which has a single gable and red brick stacks at the ridge. The building has a three by four bay layout and is two stories high.

The front has three bays, with a central half-glazed door that has panelled reveals and wooden pilasters. Above the door is a narrow moulded hood, flanked by single tripartite glazing bar sashes that include low fanlights at the top, all topped with stucco segmental heads featuring fluted keyblocks. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sashes with splayed stucco lintels and fluted keyblocks.

On the right-hand side, the four-bay section includes a four-panel door with a blank overlight and a wooden pilastered surround. The ground floor has three tripartite windows, while the upper floor features four glazing bar sashes that match those on the front.
