KEMPSTON RURAL WEST END ROAD SP 94NE 10/224 Meadow Farmhouse 2.9.86 - II

C17 house remodelled and extended late C18 or C19. Exterior now of colourwashed roughcast. Hipped old clay tile roof with three parallel ridges to rear. Block plan, four bays long by three bays deep. Two storeys. Facade has five first floor sashes, four with glazing bars, the second from the left is a later insertion. Ground floor has three sashes with glazing bars. To right of centre is a 6-panel door in reveals with architrave surround and flat doorhood. S.W. elevation has three sash windows with glazing bars to each floor. Other elevations have C20 casement windows.
