Description
Thatch Cottage is an 18th-century house that has been extended in the 20th century. It features colourwashed roughcast render, with the original part likely containing a timber-framed structure. The cottage has a thatched roof that is half-hipped towards the road. The original section has a two-room plan and consists of one storey with attics. The 20th-century extension is also one storey with attics and is positioned at a right angle to the east end of the original building. The cottage includes a variety of small casement windows, most of which have glazing bars. The entrance is located to the northeast at the junction with the 20th-century block, and it is accessed through a hipped open porch. A red brick double ridge stack is present on the roof.
