Description

This large house, built in 1859 and marked with a datestone on No. 88, has been divided into three separate dwellings. It features coursed limestone rubble and a clay tile roof adorned with fishscale bands. The windows have ashlar dressings, and most are fitted with lattice glazing bars. The building has an irregular H plan and stands two storeys tall. No. 88 includes a 19th-century brick extension at the front and a large canted full-length bay with French windows leading to the garden, topped with a battlemented parapet. No. 90 is a small single-storey brick block situated between Nos. 88 and 92. No. 92 features a small square oriel window supported by two moulded brackets on its rear gable end.
