Description
West Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge for Bromham Hall, designed in the cottage orne style. It features colour-washed plaster over a timber frame and has a thatched roof, with old clay tiles on the north wing that are banded and patterned. The building has a T-plan layout, with a gabled projecting center wing that includes a canted oriel bay window with three diamond-paned leaded lights. It is a single storey. The east elevation showcases a gabled porch with an ogee-headed door and a trefoil above it, flanked by two tall narrow side windows, also with diamond leaded panes and trefoiled heads. An extension to the north is not of special interest.
