Description

The barn at Bromham Mill is a storage barn dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, weather boarding, a stone plinth, and a pantiled roof. The barn features four bays, with the main entrance located in the second bay from the east end, and an extended half bay to the west. The trusses are supported by large arched braces and queen post supports above the purlins, with new rafters installed. Inside, there is a raised wooden floor, and a lean-to structure is present at the rear. The barn is listed for its group value with the mill.
