Description

These are a pair of estate cottages located on the east side of Carlton Road in Turvey. They were built in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from roughly dressed limestone rubble with a slate roof. They are arranged in an L-shape, with a projecting gabled wing at the north end. The cottages are two storeys high. The windows are now 20th-century casement windows with simulated glazing bars. There are two open-sided, gabled porches. The buildings are included in the listing for their contribution to the wider group value of the area.
