Description

No. 1 Thistley Lane is a cottage dating from the 18th and 19th centuries that has been modernised. It features colour-washed plaster over stone and a thatched roof that is hipped at the north end. The building is one storey with attics and was probably originally two cottages. The southern part consists of two rooms with end stacks, while the northern part has a half-hipped cross-wing facing east, creating an L-shaped plan. There are four eyebrow dormers, and the southern section has four 2-light casements with glazing bars.
