Description

No. 110 on Stagsden Road is an early 19th-century tollhouse that has been modernised. It was originally built for the Bedford-Sherington turnpike. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a new clay tile roof. It has an L-shaped plan with a gable end that projects up to the back of the pavement edge. The tollhouse is a single storey and includes three semi-circular headed 2-light leaded windows.
