Description
No. 18 Cross End is a cottage dating from the 19th century, specifically post-1805. It features colour washed rough cast over clay walling and has a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the west and hipped to the east. The cottage has a two-room plan and is one storey with attics. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows, and there are two eyebrow dormers with casements, all of which are from the 20th century. A central gabled porch, also from the 20th century, is present. The building includes a red brick stack and a lean-to addition to the east, along with a flat-roofed 20th-century addition to the west.
