Description
No. 7 is a cottage dating from around 1600, significantly altered in the 19th century. It is constructed with a substantial timber frame, largely encased in local red brick. Later extensions to the south and east are also in red brick, and the roof is tiled. The building is now arranged as a T-plan, with portions extending to two storeys and others to one storey and attics. Windows are 20th-century casements. A timber-framed fireplace exists, though it has been altered in the 20th century.
