Description
Mavourn Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with timber framed construction, featuring some brick casing and rough cast, all of which is color washed. The building has a 20th-century tiled roof and is designed in a T-plan, consisting of two storeys and attics, with a later single-storey addition in the southwest angle. On the southeast elevation, there are two 20th-century casement windows on each floor, a central four-panel door, and a brick central multiple ridge stack. A lean-to addition is present on the northeast gable end. The northwest gable retains a sash window on the first floor and a two-light horizontal sash with glazing bars in the attic. The house is located within a moated site.
