Description
Riseley Lodge Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse featuring a colour-washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and an old clay tile roof. The building has a T-plan layout with later additions and stands two storeys tall. The front elevation of the main block includes three 2-light horizontal sash windows with glazing bars on each floor, along with a porch at the angle that has a 2-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars and a fielded panel door. The projecting wing contains a sash window with glazing bars on each floor of the gable. Both wings are topped with a red brick ridge stack. Additionally, there is a one-storey lean-to addition on the northeast gable end of the main block and a one-storey outbuilding added at a right angle to the rear of the cross-wing.
