Description
Blacklands Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Bolnhurst. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame, set on a red brick plinth, with a 20th-century tiled roof. The building has a three-room plan and stands two storeys tall, with a later one-storey and attic brick addition at the rear, creating a T-plan layout. On the southeast elevation, there are two 20th-century casement windows and one two-light horizontal sash window on the ground floor, as well as two three-light and one two-light horizontal sash windows on the first floor, all with glazing bars. The entrance includes a plank door with a gabled porch aligned with the red brick double ridge.
