Description
Ye Olde Plough Public House is a 17th-century public house located on Kimbolton Road in Bolnhurst. The building features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame and has an old clay tile roof. It is designed in a T-plan and consists of one storey with attics. The projecting gable includes a three-light casement window on the ground floor and a two-light horizontal sash window in the attic, both of which have glazing bars. The main block has a 20th-century door aligned with a red brick double ridge stack, a small casement window above the door, and two-light casements on both floors to the right of the door. There is a lean-to weatherboarded extension on the north gable end and a single storey extension on the south gable end.
