Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, which was refronted in the 19th century. The building is timber framed, with some parts rebuilt in brick in the 20th century, and is finished with rough cast and colour wash. It has a hipped slate roof and is designed in a T-plan, with two storeys.
The front (east) elevation features two 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars on each floor of the main block, and one sash window on each floor of the projecting gable end. There is a 20th-century porch and door that is slightly off line with a double red brick ridge stack. To the left, there is a 20th-century door and casement window. The cross-wing appears to be a later addition, as does the southern bay of the main block. The north elevation has two external chimney stacks, and there is a one-storey lean-to addition and a conservatory on the west elevation.
