Description
Wych Tree Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed with a timber frame and faced with pebble-dash. It has an old clay tile roof and features a T-plan layout, with the main block being one storey with attics and a cross-wing that is two storeys high. The eastern gable end has a red brick external stack, while there is also a red brick ridge stack.
On the main block, there are two 3-light casement windows on the ground floor and a gabled dormer with a 2-light casement window. The entrance features a four fielded panel door set within a moulded surround. The cross-wing has a projecting gable with a 2-light horizontal sash window on each floor, along with another four fielded panel door in a moulded surround. The two blocks of the farmhouse likely date from different periods, as indicated by the change in roof level near the cross-wing.
