Description
The Baptist Free Church is a former barn from the late 18th century that was licensed as a chapel in 1808. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with the east elevation rendered and colour washed. The rest of the building is encased in yellow brick from the later 19th century. The roof is half-hipped and thatched. The structure consists of three bays, with the southern bay being a later extension. The east elevation has three sash windows, while the west elevation includes a central door and two 2-light casements. There is also a lower one-storey addition on the north gable end, made of yellow brick with a slate roof and a red brick integral gable end stack.
