Description

Homestead is a cottage from the 18th century that was formerly divided into two separate homes. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior, likely over a timber frame, and has a thatched roof. The building has four bays and is one storey high with attics. There is a red brick ridge stack and an external gable end stack on the southwest side. The cottage has four ground floor windows and three dormers, all of which are 20th-century casements. There are two plank doors, with the left-hand door located under a 20th-century porch. Additionally, there are weatherboarded and pantiled extensions of one storey on both gable ends.
