Description

Rose Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Kimbolton Road in Bolnhurst. It features a colour-washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has a thatched roof. The cottage consists of three bays and is one storey high with attics. There is a red brick double ridge stack and a red brick integral stack at the south gable end. A plank door is positioned in line with the chimney. The ground floor has two 2-light casement windows, and there is a dormer with a 2-light horizontal sash window, all of which include glazing bars. Additionally, there is a one-storey lean-to extension at the front south side, which has a slate roof.
