Description

Synehurst is a cottage built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of cob, with a rough cast and colour washed finish, and features a thatched roof. The building has a two-bay plan, is one storey high with attics, and includes a 20th-century cross-wing. The original section has a central plank door, two 2-light horizontal sash windows, and two dormers with casement windows. There are red brick stacks that were originally located at both gable ends. Additionally, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed one-storey extension at the rear.
