Description
Elm Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has a corrugated iron roof. The building has a four-bay plan and stands two storeys high. There are red brick external stacks at both gable ends and one red brick ridge stack. On the east elevation, there are four two-light casement windows on the ground floor and four two-light horizontal sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor. A flank door with a moulded surround is located at the center of the two southern bays, while a six fielded panel door with a moulded surround is positioned at the center of the two northern bays. Additionally, there is a one-storey lean-to addition at the southern rear of the farmhouse.
