Description
This pair of cottages, possibly originally one house, dates from the 18th century. They feature colour washed rough cast over a timber frame and have a pantiled roof. The cottages are three bays overall, with one storey and attics. On the south elevation, there are three 2-light horizontal sash windows of varying sizes, all with glazing bars, along with one fixed single-light window on the ground floor. There is also a dormer with a 2-light horizontal sash window and a sloping roof. The left-hand cottage has a central plank door, while the right-hand cottage has a 20th-century porch to the right. Between the two right-hand bays, there is a yellow brick double ridge stack, and the left-hand gable end features a red brick integral stack. Additionally, there are colour washed brick and slate lean-to additions on both gable ends.
