Description

Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with colour-washed rough cast over a timber frame, and an old clay tile roof. The building has an L-shaped plan, with additional wings to the north and a projecting wing from the south side of the east elevation. It is two storeys high, with the north wing having one storey and attics. Most of the windows are 20th-century casements. The west elevation features a gabled dormer to the north wing, two 19th-century panelled part-glazed doors under gabled open porches, and a substantial external chimney breast to the left of the door on the south wing. A 19th-century sash window with glazing bars is retained in the rear, south projecting wing. A 19th-century outhouse addition of brick and pantiles is located to the south.
