Description
The Cross Keys Public House is a 17th-century public house located on High Street in Pulloxhill. It is a timber-framed building with colourwashed plaster render and a 20th-century tiled roof. The structure is L-shaped, consisting of one storey and attics. The left-hand gable features one sash window with glazing bars on each floor. The right-hand block also has similar sash windows, with one on each floor and an attic window set in a gablet that breaks through the eaves line. The right-hand block includes a 20th-century gabled porch at the junction with the gable. The left-hand gable has an external chimney stack on the left side wall, while the right-hand block has a rebuilt integral gable and stack. There are various 19th and 20th-century additions at the rear.
