Description

This is a 17th and 18th century farmhouse located on the west side of High Street, Pulloxhill. The house is timber framed, with the ground floor clad in colourwashed brick and the first floor finished with pebbledash render. It has clay tile roofs. The original part of the house is two storeys with attics, comprising a three-room plan. A later two-storey addition to the right-hand end creates an L-shaped layout. The windows are predominantly three-light casements; those on the ground floor have cambered heads. A gabled dormer window features a two-light casement. A 19th-century gabled porch, constructed from colourwashed brick and roofed with slate, incorporates French windows. A red brick stack, serving back-to-back hearths, runs along the ridge. The projecting block on the right-hand side has a three-stage external chimney stack, also made of red brick.
