Description
No. 58 High Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It features colour washed plaster over a timber frame, with a colour washed brick plinth. The roof is half-hipped and thatched. The cottage has a two-room plan and is one storey high with attics. The front elevation displays faint herringbone design pargetting. There is one two-light casement window and one four-light casement window on the ground floor, along with two dormers that have two-light horizontal sashes. The central front door has four fielded panels. At both ends, there are red brick gable end stacks. The rear of the cottage has a projecting block that is one storey high with attics and features a slated roof.
