Description
Nos 50 and 56 on High Street are cottages dating from the 17th century, with early 19th century alterations. They feature a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and have a pantile roof. The overall layout consists of three rooms across two storeys.
On the east elevation, there is one two-light casement window and one canted bay window on the ground floor, along with a box dormer that has a two-light casement, all of which include glazing bars. The south elevation has one canted bay and a four-light casement with glazing bars on the first floor. The cottages also have two red brick ridge stacks and single-storey lean-to additions at the rear.
