Description

No. 8 Rotten Row is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame, with red brick casing on the southeast gable end. It has a thatched roof and consists of two bays, standing one storey high with attics. The southwest elevation includes casement windows and one dormer. The southeast gable end has a two-light horizontal sash window on each floor, both with glazing bars and an under cambered head. There are red brick external stacks at both gable ends.
