Description

This is a 17th-century cottage located on Rotten Row in Riseley. It is built with a timber frame and has been finished with colour-washed rough cast. The roof is thatched. The cottage originally comprised two rooms and has a first-floor attic space. The front elevation features two two-light horizontal sash windows with glazing bars, and one small casement window to the right. A gabled porch, dated to the 20th century, has been added to the left side. A red brick stack rises from the centre of the roof ridge. A single-storey, lean-to addition extends from the rear.
