Description

This barn, located about 20 metres west of Ismere House, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tile roof. The barn has six roof bays that run east to west and includes two threshing floors, each positioned one bay in from the gable ends. Notable architectural details include brick coped verges, a dentilled brick cornice, hit-and-miss ventilation, and full-height doors leading to the threshing floors. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
