Description

This is a row of four houses located on Kidderminster Road in Bewdley. They date from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and some later changes in the late 20th century. The houses are constructed of painted brick and have a tile roof, with rear chimney stacks. The design is of one storey and an attic, the latter lit by three gabled dormers. There are seven windows in total: a 2-light casement to the left, a 2-light casement within a larger opening, two single-light casements, a 3-light casement, a further 2-light casement, and a fixed casement under a segmental head to the right. The entrances are varied; number 78 has a wooden architrave and a 20th-century half-glazed door, number 76 a wooden architrave under a segmental head and a half-glazed door, number 74 a wooden architrave, segmental head, and a 20th-century panelled door, and number 72 a wooden architrave, segmental head, and a 20th-century ledged and boarded door.
