Description

Rock Cut House is located about 15 metres north-west of New House and is likely from the early 19th century. The house is built into the vertical face of a small sandstone quarry and features bedrock with some brick dressings. It is a single-storey structure with two windows that have brick dressings and 2-light casements. The central entrance is framed by a wooden architrave and has a ledged and boarded door. There is a brick stack to the right of the entrance. New House is not included in this listing.
