Description
This is a house located to the northeast of Rock House, dating from the late 17th century with some later alterations. It is constructed from coursed rubble gritstone and features quoins, moulded copings, and kneelers on the south gable, along with end stone ridge stacks. The roof is stone slated. The building has an 'L' plan and the south elevation consists of two storeys with a gabled front and a cross-wing to the north that is set back. The gable includes four 2-light flush mullioned windows, some of which have been recently restored, along with 20th-century pivot windows. Other areas of the house feature 20th-century joinery set in flush stone frames. There is a doorway located on the west side wall.
