Description

This icehouse, located approximately 10 metres south-east of Russell House, dates from around 1800 and is constructed of limestone. It features a subterranean chamber with a rectangular plan, which includes a recess in the north wall and a barrel vault ceiling. The doorway has a Tudor-arched head and is accessed by stone steps that are flanked by retaining walls.
