Description
Lifford Memorial Hall is a public hall built in 1915 by A N Prentice. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The facade has three gabled projections, each with a 4-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window, complete with a hood under the gable. Below each of the outer windows, there are buttresses. In the center, there is an empty hermisherical niche and a stone inscribed: "This Hall was Erected by his Friends to the Memory of James Wilfred 5th Viscount Lifford 1915". Flanking the central projection are two 5-light windows with a transom. The right side of the facade is mostly blank, except for a 3-light window on the far right. On the left side, there is a moulded doorway with a Tudor arch. The left-hand gable wall features a single-storey canted bay window and a window with two elliptical-headed lights under the apex.
